OBJECTIVES
To investigate how existing and forthcoming legislative and regulatory frameworks can support and enhance the use of AI/ML to improve energy efficiency and comfort in buildings. (The discussion will focus on DigiBUILD services as a case study to address the impacts on various stakeholders, including policymakers, industry professionals, and end-users. The objective is to extract essential insights and directives necessary to define the regulatory paths that enable the integration of AI technologies in the building sector, while also specifying the compliance, data handling, and privacy expectations and requirements for technology providers).
To share knowledge and experience about the development of Digital Twins, with focus on a suggested minimum maturity level.
To inform key stakeholders about the potential of digital solutions in the field of building energy efficiency, seeking for feedback that can be meaningful for further developments in DigiBUILD and/or future projects.
