DESCRIPTION:\nIn today’s rapidly evolving urban development landscape, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are proving to be game-changers in enhancing building energy efficiency and occupant comfort. This webinar will explore the legislative and regulatory frameworks—both current and upcoming—that could facilitate the integration of these cutting-edge technologies into the built environment. By focusing on AI/ML’s potential to revolutionize building management systems, participants will gain valuable insights on driving innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting stakeholder interests.\nORGANISORS\nInstitute of European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP)\nEuroheat & Power (EHP)\nThe event is part of Task 6.4 – Guidelines & road mapping for the transition to a digital, sustainable, and resilient built environment; and sub-task T7.2.2 – Dialogue with the DigiBUILD communities / capacity-building workshops and webinars.\nOBJECTIVES\nTo investigate how existing and forthcoming legislative and regulatory frameworks can support and enhance the use of AI/ML to improve energy efficiency and comfort in buildings. (The discussion will focus on DigiBUILD services as a case study to address the impacts on various stakeholders, including policymakers, industry professionals, and end-users.
